Finished Zebra

Here is a photo of my life size mosaic zebra. This took forever to make I have 2 weeks of work in the beaded mane alone, the mane is over 12oo feet of wire and seed beads.

Vashon Island

Yesterday I took the ferry up to Vashon Island, it was my first trip to the island. I delivered some art work at the Heron Nest Gallery. We then went to a great nursery called Dig

Custom Work

Last Summer I was commissioned to make a pair of over sized pileated wood peckers

Venice

Last fall I took my mother to Rome and Venice. While in Venice we went over to the Island of Murano. Some of the materials I use in my mosaics are made there like the smalti and millefiori. Below are some examples of my work with the Italian materials.

The Coolest Place In California

This is the Queen Califia's Magic Circle in Escondido California it

The materials range from colored mirror, glass gems, ceramic tiles and stones.


The circular Snake wall is 400 feet long and ranges from 4 to 9 feet high

This scuplture is 24' x 22'x 20' and the egg is a solar powered fountain



Love the snakes!




There are a total of 8 totems ranging from 11 feet tall to 21 feet tall.

Tulips!

I picked these tulips up at the grocery store. They are locally grown up north in Mount Vernon Washington. Mid April through May the Tulip festival is being held in Mount Vernon
