NW Mural

Here is the final layout for the Northwest mural for Westfield Southcenter Mall.

The layout is right to left.

Mount Rainer, bear, eagle w/fish and trees

Pond w/ducks and beaver dam

Owl, and deer

Rabbit, black bear w/bee's nest, mountain lion and bear w/salmon

Blue jay, wood pecker, stream w/salmon and turtle. Then transitions into Puget Sound.

Crabs, fish, and seaweed



Crabs, sharks, whales, there will be a ferry boat and a airplane in this scene.

It was a long night of heart making. These are going off to a great store called Wandering Daisy in Breckenridge Colorado.

Back To Get Glass

Wednesday I went back to Seattle to get glass. Living on a island is different when you go into Seattle every detail is planned so you dont miss the boat. (Below) Is a older ferry docked for work on Bainbridge Island.

This is the current ferry boats that are used to shuttle over 11 million cars and 26 million people a year.

This is the view of Seattle

Back from the city the glass survived the trip home. This glass is for the mural project on top is the blue for the sky, green for grass, brown for tree trunks, and dark green for trees.

It was a long weekend of mirror making....Some are going to galleries and some are purchases from Esty.

I still have to paint the edges and glue the mirror back in place.
